Hummingbird Is Hiring | Insurance Support Specialist | US Healthcare - Dental Insurance | Location: Remote initially, transitioning to Gurgaon office in the coming months

One of our San Francisco-based clients working at the intersection of AI and healthcare is looking for an Insurance Support Specialist to support US dental insurance verification.

Key Responsibilities:

- Call US insurance payers to verify patient eligibility and dental benefits.
- Speak with insurance representatives to confirm and accurately capture benefit information.
- Navigate payer phone systems and follow verification workflows.
- Document verification results accurately in internal systems.
- Identify and escalate unclear or conflicting insurance information.
- Support day-to-day operations and help improve verification workflows.

Requirements:





- Strong English communication and listening skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate in American English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable with phone-heavy work and calling US insurance payers.
- Good problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn current systems quickly.
- Experience in US healthcare or dental insurance verification is a plus.

Work Requirements:

- Comfortable working US EST and PST hours.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and take ownership.
