- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders, delivery challans and invoices.

- Inspect materials for part numbers, specifications, dimensions, damage, identification and required certificates.Key Responsibilities

- Verify materials against approved BOMs, drawings and purchase specifications, wherever applicable.

- Coordinate with the Quality and Purchase teams for technical inspection, discrepancies and material rejections.

- Prepare inward inspection reports and maintain inspection records.

- Ensure rejected or non-conforming materials are identified, segregated and reported for corrective action.

- Enter receipts accurately in the ERP / inventory system and maintain proper documentation.

- Store materials systematically with proper identification, labelling and traceability.

- Maintain project-wise inventory and ensure materials are issued only against authorised material requests.

- Monitor stock levels, shortages, excess inventory and slow-moving materials.

- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

- Ensure proper handling, preservation and storage of electrical components, instruments, cables, enclosures and other engineering materials.

- Coordinate with Purchase, Production,



Quality and Project teams to ensure timely material availability.

- Maintain stores cleanliness, safety and housekeeping.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of stores management, material inspection and inventory control.

- Ability to read purchase orders, delivery challans, part numbers and basic engineering drawings.

- Familiarity with electrical components, instrumentation items and control panel materials.

- Basic knowledge of ERP / inventory systems and MS Excel.

- Robust attention to detail, documentation and record-keeping.

- Honesty, discipline and accountability in material handling.

- Accuracy of inventory records and physical stock.

- Timely completion of inward inspection and goods receipt entries.

Preferred: Experience in electrical panel manufacturing, industrial engineering, instrumentation or project-based manufacturing companies.
