Role Description The Storekeeper will manage day-to-day operations of the store, including receiving, unloading, and verifying materials and supplies.

Responsibilities include organizing and packing items, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring proper storage and labeling of materials. The role involves coordinating with procurement and site teams to track stock levels, issue materials as required, and support smooth project operations. This is a full time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, requiring regular presence at the designated project or warehouse location.

Qualifications

- Manage day-to-day site store operations, including receipt, storage and issue of construction materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records, GRN, material issue/return and inventory registers.
- Ensure proper material verification as per quantity,



quality and purchase order.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase, Engineering and Accounts teams for timely material requirements.
- Prevent material wastage, damage and unauthorized usage through proper storage and control.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with records/ERP.
- Coordinate with vendors and site teams regarding material delivery and shortages.
- Prepare daily/weekly stock and material consumption reports for management.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and systematic arrangement of the store.
- Follow company procedures for material documentation, approvals and inventory control.
