Role & responsibilities

1. Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating.
2. Present menus, explain menu items and answer basic questions about food and beverages.
3. Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen or bar team.
4. Serve food and beverages professionally, following service standards.
5. Attend to guest requests promptly and handle basic complaints politely.
6. Coordinate with the kitchen, bar and service team to ensure smooth operations.
7. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables and guest dining areas.
8. Follow restaurant hygiene, grooming and hospitality standards.
9. Ensure guests receive attentive, courteous and timely service throughout their visit.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Previous experience in a premium restaurant, upscale caf, lounge, pub or luxury hotel.
2. Good verbal communication skills and a confident, presentable personality.
3. Qualified grooming, positive attitude and a service-oriented approach.
4. Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
5. Ability to work well in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
6. Preferred experience: Approximately 23 years in restaurant guest service.
