Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced Stereo Camera Data Collection Specialist to collect high-quality stereo-camera data for training and improving robotic systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience capturing stereo images or video, maintaining accurate metadata, and ensuring data quality for robotics and computer vision applications.

Candidates must have their own stereo-camera equipment and be capable of independently managing the data collection process according to project guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:· Collect stereo-camera images and video data for robotics training and computer vision applications.

· Operate and configure stereo-camera equipment to capture synchronized left and right camera images.

· Record and maintain accurate metadata corresponding to the collected data, including timestamps, camera settings, and calibration information where required.

· Follow project-specific data collection guidelines, protocols, and quality standards.

· Verify data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and image quality before submission.

· Identify and report issues such as missing frames, blurry images, synchronization errors, and incorrect metadata.

· Organize, label, and upload collected datasets in the required format.

· Ensure the collected data meets the technical requirements for robotic perception, depth estimation, and related training tasks.





· Troubleshoot basic camera setup and data collection issues.

· Maintain confidentiality and comply with project data security requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills· Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in stereo-camera data collection, computer vision data acquisition, robotics data collection, or a closely related field.

· Must own a stereo camera suitable for the required data collection tasks.

· Practical knowledge of stereo imaging, camera positioning, and synchronized image capture.

· Understanding of camera calibration, metadata recording, and image quality validation.

· Experience handling, organizing, and submitting large image or video datasets.

· Familiarity with robotics, computer vision, or AI/ML training data workflows.

· Solid attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions accurately.

· Good troubleshooting, documentation, and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills· Familiarity with Python, OpenCV, ROS/ROS 2, or relevant camera software.

· Knowledge of stereo vision, depth estimation, disparity maps, and 3D perception.

· Experience working with robotics training datasets or sensor data.

· Understanding of dataset validation, quality assurance, and structured data submission.

Mandatory Equipment RequirementCandidates must have their own stereo camera available for the project. They should be able to share the camera make and model, technical specifications, and sample images or videos, if requested, to confirm suitability for the project requirements.
