Role Description

This role is responsible for managing statutory compliance, direct and indirect tax filings, and supporting audits in accordance with local and international regulations. Day-to-day activities include preparing and reviewing tax returns, maintaining accurate financial and statutory records, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and monitoring changes in tax laws and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle GST compliance, including return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and reconciliations
- Manage direct taxation, including TDS, advance tax, and ITR filings
- Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns, declarations, and payments
- Support and coordinate statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits
- Prepare and maintain audit schedules, documentation, and reconciliations
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities




- Track compliance deadlines through calendars and MIS reports
- Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure proper implementation
- Maintain statutory records, filings, and supporting documents
- Assist in year-end closing and financial reporting activities

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
- 1 years of experience in Accounts & Taxation
- Robust hands-on experience in:
- GST filings and compliance
- TDS and income tax (ITR)
- Audit support (statutory/tax audits)
- Candidates with CA Inter / CMA Inter / Articleship experience/Bcom/Mcom can also be considered
- Good understanding of Indian tax laws and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
