- Experience with stamping part simulation and press tool validation using Autoform and CATIA V5
- Simulate stamping parts and press tools, assess manufacturing feasibility, coordinate with R&D; and suppliers, validate press tool data, and prepare method and control plans
- Ensures Simulation of the Stamping parts & Press Tool as per Cad data of the current products
- Surfacing / modelling skills in CATIA V5
- Part and process feasibility assessment using simulation software (Auto form).
- Manufacturing feasibility check using press parts simulation software.
- Feedback based on reviews and coordination with R & D and technical development department
- Design Change & review the Product data along with R & D, Tool Maker, Press Parts Supplier.
- Press tool data validation (Surface quality, measurement, Spring Back & Thinning)
- Preparation of the method plans along Tool Maker & Press Planning team.
- Development of control plans for sustenance of stamping process. • Knowledge of the Press tools, Dies & method plan.
