Job Title: Senior SEO Executive

About the Role

We’re looking for a data-driven Senior SEO Executive to lead our organic growth strategy from our Ahmedabad office. You’ll own search performance across traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot, and mentor a team of SEO executives. You’ll work closely with the content, design, development, and PPC teams across the USA, UK, Australia, GCC, and global markets.

What You’ll Do

SEO and Content

- Run website audits and optimize pages, blogs, and landing pages for target keywords and search intent
- Implement meta tags, schema markup, internal linking, and site structure improvements
- Build topical authority through pillar pages and topic clusters
- Work with writers to create helpful content aligned with E-E-A-T
- Monitor Core Web Vitals and refresh existing content to prevent ranking decay

AI Search (GEO/AEO)

- Improve brand visibility and citations across AI search platforms
- Structure content for AI extraction (FAQs, comparison tables, clear answers)
- Strengthen entity signals and manage AI crawler access (robots.txt, llms.txt)
- Track AI mentions and share of voice; optimize for Bing and IndexNow

Off-Page and Digital PR

- Run link-building, outreach, and digital PR campaigns
- Grow listings on review platforms like Clutch, GoodFirms, and G2
- Audit backlinks and handle toxic links in line with Google’s spam policies

Technical SEO

- Fix crawling, indexing, and rendering issues with the dev team
- Manage sitemaps, canonicals, redirects, and hreflang for multi-region sites
- Audit JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js) and run log file analysis




- Support SEO checks during migrations and redesigns

Analytics and Reporting

- Conduct keyword and topic research, including conversational and question-based queries
- Manage GA4, Search Console, GTM, and Looker Studio dashboards
- Measure organic contribution to leads and pipeline with sales and CRM teams
- Present monthly reports covering traffic, rankings, AI visibility, and ROI

Team and Process

- Lead, mentor, and train junior and mid-level SEO executives
- Assign tasks, review reports, and give actionable feedback
- Use AI tools responsibly for research, briefs, and audits, with human review for quality
- Build SOPs, templates, and automation

What We’re Looking For

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field
- 4 to 7 years of SEO experience (agency or in-house), ideally in B2B, IT services, or SaaS
- Solid knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Working knowledge of GEO/AEO and how AI platforms select and cite sources
- Solid understanding of E-E-A-T, helpful content, and Google’s spam policies
- Hands-on experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, Search Console, GTM, Looker Studio, and Bing Webmaster Tools
- Experience with AI visibility tools (Semrush AI Toolkit, Ahrefs Brand Radar, Profound, or similar)
- Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Magento, or headless CMS
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, plus experience managing junior team members

Nice to Have

- Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- International SEO (UK, Australia, US), local SEO, or eCommerce SEO
- Understanding of CRO and attribution
- Experience with programmatic SEO and large-scale content operations

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
