Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead (Service Cloud) - M&A; Role Overview -

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead to own end-to-end quality assurance for Salesforce M&A; integration, org consolidation, and legacy-to-Salesforce migration initiatives. The role owns test strategy, execution, and go-live readiness across functional, integration, data migration, security, and performance layers.

Key Responsibilities

- Own test strategy, test plans, and quality gates for Salesforce M&A; migrations across Service Cloud.
- Lead execution across SIT, UAT, performance, security, and regression testing phases.
- Design and execute data migration testing - source-to-target reconciliation, transformation validation, deduplication, record-count assurance, delta-sync.
- Test Service Cloud capabilities (Case, Queues, Assignment Rules, Entitlements, Milestones, Omni-Channel, Service Console, Knowledge).
- Test Experience Cloud flows - self-registration, case creation, entitlement-based visibility, sharing enforcement, SSO.
- Test Informatica IICS APIs (Application Integration), REST / SOAP APIs, Platform Events, CDC, Bulk API.
- Validate Salesforce security - FLS, Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, Role Hierarchy, Apex-managed sharing,



external-user visibility.
- Lead mock cutover rehearsals, go-live cutover testing, and rollback validation.
- Lead hyper care testing and production defect triage post go-live.
- Own defect lifecycle in Jira - triage, prioritisation, root-cause analysis, closure.
- Coordinate UAT with business - scripts, training, defect flow, sign-off.
- Produce test metrics, defect analysis, and go-live readiness dashboards for programme leadership.

Required Skills

- 7- 10+ years of QA experience, with 5+ years specifically in Salesforce testing.
- Strong hands-on experience testing Service Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, sharing and security model, FLS, and sharingrule / Apex-managed sharing validation.
- Proficient in SOQL, SQL, Workbench, and Data Loader for data validation and reconciliation.
- Hands-on with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent).
- Experience designing data migration test strategies - reconciliation, cutover validation, delta sync.
- Robust Agile / Scrum, Jira, release management, UAT coordination, and defect management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication - able to produce test strategy documents and present quality metrics to programme leadership.
- Basic familiarity with leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or equivalent) to accelerate test case generation, data validation, defect analysis, and reconciliation across large-scale migration datasets.
