Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Functional Consultant with dedicated hands-on expertise in Oracle Fixed Assets (FA) and Lease Accounting (LA). The successful candidate will be responsible for functional solution design, configuration, subledger integration, and production support across enterprise financial environments, ensuring strict compliance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16 standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end functional support, configuration, and optimization across Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, focusing on Fixed Assets (FA), Lease Accounting (LA), General Ledger (GL), and Accounts Payable (AP).

- Manage asset lifecycle processes including asset additions, CIP capitalization, depreciation runs, retirements, revaluations, and impairments.

- Oversee Lease Accounting workflows, contract setups, discount rate definitions, and Right-of-Use (ROU) asset/liability amortizations under ASC 842 and IFRS 16 compliance.

- Investigate and resolve complex subledger-to-GL accounting exceptions, period-end reconciliation blocks, and integration variances.

- Configure custom Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules, Business Process Management (BPM) workflows, and Functional Setup Manager (FSM) structures.

- Execute data migration and conversions for asset lines and financial balances using FBDI, ADFdi, and Rapid Implementation spreadsheets.





- Author enterprise functional documentation, including BR100 configuration guides, MD050 functional design specs, and TE040 UAT scripts.

- Collaborate directly with Oracle Support via Service Requests (SR) to troubleshoot core platform bugs, apply fixes, and test quarter-update releases.

Mandatory Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of core functional consulting experience in Oracle Cloud ERP Financials (Fusion Financials) or hybrid Oracle EBS/Cloud deployments.

- Proven track record implementing or supporting Oracle Fixed Assets (FA) and Oracle Lease Accounting (LA).

- Strong working knowledge of lease accounting compliance standards (ASC 842 and IFRS 16).

- Direct functional expertise in Subledger Accounting (SLA) rule design and period-end close reconciliations between FA/LA/AP and General Ledger.

- Experience with data migration utilities including FBDI and ADFdi.

- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Flexibility to support shifts within the 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST window.

Supplementary / Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on familiarity with Oracle Property Manager (PN) or dedicated third-party lease accounting solutions (LeaseAccelerator, CoStar).

- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certifications.

- Background in accounting standards (US GAAP / IFRS) or prior domain experience in corporate finance.
