We are seeking an experienced AGM Substation Civil Design to lead civil and structural design activities for high-voltage substation projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in substation civil engineering, structural design coordination, foundation design, site development, and the preparation and review of civil engineering deliverables for power transmission infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage civil and structural design engineering activities for high-voltage substation projects.

- Review and coordinate substation civil design drawings, calculations, technical specifications, and engineering documents.

- Oversee the design of equipment foundations, transformer foundations, circuit breaker foundations, gantry foundations, and other substation structures.

- Manage the design and review of control room buildings, relay rooms, switchgear buildings, and other associated civil structures.

- Review structural steel structures, gantries, support structures, and equipment foundations in coordination with structural engineering teams.

- Oversee substation site grading, earthwork, excavation, filling, and site development activities.

- Review the design of roads,



stormwater drainage systems, retaining walls, boundary walls, and fencing.

- Coordinate with electrical design teams to ensure proper integration of equipment layouts, foundations, cable trenches, cable ducts, and underground utilities.

- Review soil investigation reports, geotechnical recommendations, and foundation design requirements.

- Ensure compliance with applicable IS, IEC, ACI, Eurocodes, or other relevant standards, depending on project specifications.

- Conduct technical reviews of civil and structural drawings, design calculations, and contractor or vendor submissions.

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

- Monitor design deliverables, project schedules, quality requirements, and engineering resource allocation.

- Provide technical guidance to civil and structural engineers and ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

- Support tendering, estimation, quantity calculations, technical evaluations, and project planning activities.
