Position Summary

You will lead management accounting for manufacturing and supply chain across our India operations. You will partner with site finance, supply chain finance and global teams to deliver accurate product costing, month-end close and clear management reporting. This role is based in India and follows a hybrid working model. You will be expected to be in office regularly to partner with finance and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

- Lead product costing for assigned manufacturing groups, ensuring accurate unit costs and timely cost roll-ups.

- Own month-end production accounting, reconciliations and preparation of clear, actionable management reports.

- Act as the primary finance contact for manufacturing sites, site finance partners and supply chain finance on costing and accounting matters.

- Drive data quality and process improvements across costing data sets and systems.

- Support financial controls, compliance and audit requirements related to manufacturing and supply chain processes.

- Provide analysis and decision support for pricing, inventory valuation and margin improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualification

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or equivalent.

- Professional accounting qualification (for example ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA)



or actively working toward one.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product costing, production accounting or manufacturing finance.

- Practical experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and production costing modules or equivalent.

- Strong Excel skills and experience preparing clear management reports.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualification

- Experience with supply chain finance and working directly with manufacturing sites in a global company.

- Hands-on experience with SAP M-ERP costing tools or specialized costing applications.

- Experience delivering process automation, data quality initiatives or reporting improvements.

- Experience with financial controls and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

- Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering outcomes.

- Comfortable working in a hybrid model and flexible to collaborate across time zones when needed.
