Role: Sr/Lead Structural Engineer
Educational Requirement: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech- Civil / Structural
Experience: 5-8 Years
Role & responsibilities:
- Experience in the design of steel structures for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Metals & Minerals Processing, Buildings, Infrastructure, and other industrial sectors.
- Perform structural calculations for easy design applications.
- Carry out engineering design for MEP applications using modular support systems, including the basic design of related products, anchors, anchor channels, and direct fastening systems, using hand calculations. Ensure proper engineering documentation, including design reports and project design submittals.
- Demonstrate proficiency in civil and structural engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, IDEA StatiCa, MAT3D, or RISA.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, including Eurocodes, ACI, and AISC.
- Prepare and derive Bills of Materials (BOMs)
and explain engineering solutions to other functions, such as Supply Chain, Sales, and Field Engineering, to support further processing.
- Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders across the relevant Market and Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards throughout project execution.
- Follow established engineering guidelines and supporting procedures in a disciplined and consistent manner.
- Take ownership and accountability for assigned scopes of work, ensuring high-quality deliverables, effective time management, and compliance with company processes.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and functional development.
