Reporting to : Area Head Quality Billet Alumininum

Qualifications:

Essential: Full-time professional degree B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgy from a reputed institute.

Desirable: Degree / Diploma in Operations, or certification in quality systems.

Experience:

Essential: 3+ years of experience in the Quality function in the Metal Industry. Working exposure to quality techniques (visual inspection, spectrometry, chemical composition analysis) is mandatory.

Stable career history:



not more than 2 employers in the last 5 years.

Desirable

- Experience in quality control activities in the billet Aluminum sector.
- Raw material inspection of billet aluminium scrap, alloys and other incoming materials.
- Quality testing: hardness, tensile strength and chemical composition analysis, including equipment calibration.
- Root cause analysis and corrective action on quality issues.

Job Profile:

Raw Material Inspection

- Conduct thorough inspection of incoming raw materials such as aluminium scrap, alloys and other materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document and report any deviations or non-conformities, and work with the procurement team to resolve issues.

Process Control

- Monitor and control the production processes involved in aluminium recycling, ensuring they are executed according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to implement process improvements and optimize quality.

Finished Product Inspection

- Perform comprehensive inspection of finished aluminium products to verify quality and conformity to customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and generate reports as required.

Quality Testing

- Conduct quality tests on aluminium products, including hardness, tensile strength and chemical composition analysis.




- Operate testing equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.

Documentation and Reporting

- Maintain meticulous records of quality control activities, test results and any quality-related incidents.
- Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance to management.

Quality Assurance

- Implement and enforce quality assurance practices and standards across the organization.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues.

Safety and Compliance

- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards

General: Age -22- 30 years.

CTC - 3.6 LPA to 6.8 LPA There is no constraint for the right candidate.

Candidate should not be frequent job changer.
