Roles and Responsibilities

- Operate sealed quench furnaces to heat treat various materials, ensuring optimal temperature control and quality output.

- Monitor and adjust furnace parameters such as atmosphere, pressure, and cooling rates to achieve desired properties.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the furnace equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.

- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes.

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations when working with high-temperature environments.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 3-5 years of experience operating SQF furnaces or similar equipment in an industrial setting.

- Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die Making from a recognized institution.

- Solid understanding of heat treatment principles and practices; knowledge of metallurgy an asset.

- Proficiency in reading drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications.
