We are looking for a SQL DBA with 3+ years of experience to support and maintain critical database environments for credit card and payment processing applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SQL Server administration, database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and production support.

- Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server databases in production and non-production environments.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery activities.
- Perform database patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot database issues and support incident resolution.
- Ensure database security, user access management, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Work closely with application, infrastructure,



and support teams to ensure high availability of business-critical systems.

Responsibilities

- 3+ years of SQL Server DBA experience.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with backup/recovery, replication, and high-availability solutions.
- Positive understanding of database security and access controls.
- Experience with monitoring tools and production support processes.
- Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell or SQL scripts.

Qualifications

- Experience in Credit Card, Payments, Banking, or Financial Services domains.
- Exposure to cloud database platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
