About the Role:

The role is for a Chinese Mandarin speaker to take those machine translations and rewrite them so they sound completely natural and local — as if a Chinese sports content creator wrote them originally. It is not word-for-word translation. The goal is content that feels personal, local to China, not like a translated document.

Key Responsibilities

- Rewrite AI-translated sports content (reels, captions, articles, prediction cards) into natural, sounding Chinese.

- Make the writing feel as if it was created for local Chinese fans (not translated from English).

- Use short, spoken-style sentences for video/social content that match the energy of a sports voiceover.

- Assess machine translations using a simple checklist (flow, tone, meaning, length).

- Review recorded audio and reels for pronunciation, pacing, and authenticity.

- Identify correct local sports terminology, slang, and fan expressions (instead of literal translations).





- Give concise notes on anything unclear, incorrect, or unnatural in the AI translation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Chinese Mandarin speaker with Chinese nationality or residency + current, genuine understanding of how people in China actually speak and write.

- Strong written English (to understand the original source content accurately).

- Comfortable writing in a casual, social-media / voiceover style (not formal or academic).

- Robust attention to detail when reviewing audio and giving constructive feedback.

- Open to graduates and graduate students — no specific degree required.

Nice to Have

- Good knowledge of football.

- Experience with sports betting or prediction-related content.

- Experience recording or reviewing voiceover/audio.

- Background in translation, localisation, copywriting, or social media content creation.
