Job Summary

"We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer with robust expertise in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Software Testing

Life Cycle (STLC), API Testing using Postman, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by designing, executing, and managing comprehensive test strategies while collaborating closely with cross-functional "

Key Responsibilities

"1.Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

2.Execute functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, and sanity testing.

3.Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

4.Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.

5.Perform API testing using Postman to validate RESTful web services.

6.Write and execute SQL queries in SQL Server to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.





7.Review requirements and provide early feedback to improve product quality.

8.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

9.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

10.Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates.

11.Ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards."

Required Skills

"Strong knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies and best practices.

Excellent understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.

Experience with API testing using Postman.

Strong SQL skills with experience in Microsoft SQL Server for database validation.

Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills."

Preffered Qualification

"Any Bachelors degree.

ISTQB Foundation Level certification is an advantage.

Experience working in Agile development environments."
