Data Infrastructure and Analytics Industry is Looking for:**** Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain production software .
- Build and maintain applications and services using technologies such as Python, FastAPI, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Next.js, Snowflake, and AWS.
- Work with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, ECR, CloudWatch, and other components of our cloud application architecture.
- Develop and support APIs, backend services, user facing applications, integrations, and data driven ETL and ELT pipelines.
- Participate throughout the software engineering lifecycle, including technical design, development, code reviews, testing, deployment, debugging, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, data, integration, and production issues within established response and resolution SLAs, taking end to end ownership from initial investigation through successful resolution.
- Support production ETL and ELT workflows built using Python, AWS, and Snowflake, including diagnosing issues involving application code, APIs, source data, files, transformations, Snowflake loads, and dependent services.
- Proactively monitor client batch processing and investigate and respond to ETL and ELT failures to ensure successful completion of critical data workflows.
- Identify recurring production problems and engineer sustainable solutions through code changes, automation, improved monitoring, health checks, tooling, and better diagnostics.




- Participate in production incident response and root cause analysis, documenting technical findings, corrective actions, and opportunities to prevent recurrence.
- Communicate directly with customers through Support tickets when investigating technical issues and production incidents. Provide clear, timely, and technically accurate updates regarding findings, impact, remediation, and root cause.
- Maintain accurate status and documentation for assigned engineering and Support work, ensuring progress, dependencies, escalations, and next steps are clearly communicated.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and engineering best practices that enable other engineers to effectively develop and support our applications and services.
- Participate in client''''s follow the sun engineering model, collaborating with engineering teams in India and the United States to provide effective production coverage and continuity.
- Provide detailed technical handoffs when active incidents, tickets, or investigations transition between India and US engineering coverage.
- Maintain appropriate overlap with US teams for engineering collaboration, standups, sprint reviews, knowledge transfer, and technical handoffs, which may include availability until approximately 11:00 AM Eastern Time.
- Participate in scheduled India daytime holiday and weekend engineering coverage as required.
- Participate actively in team ceremonies and communicate work status, risks, dependencies, and blockers to team leaders and engineering stakeholders.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in an individual contributor role
- Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science or Engineering




- Strong programming experience with Python and experience developing applications or services using FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Experience with modern web application technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Next.js
- Experience with containerized and distributed application environments using technologies such as Docker, ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes, microservices, and message queues
- Strong working knowledge of Linux or Unix based environments
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar technologies
- Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational or cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2
- Experience developing, integrating, and troubleshooting REST APIs and working with SDKs and CLI tools
- Experience processing and troubleshooting structured and semi structured data formats including JSON, XML, CSV, and flat files
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including application design, testing, debugging, code quality, source control, and production deployment practices
- Experience with or exposure to NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB
- Experience troubleshooting complex production applications and distributed systems across application, data
