Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer with strong hands-on expertise in IBM DataStage and working knowledge of Talend. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL workflows to support enterprise data integration and data warehousing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL jobs using IBM DataStage.

- Extract, transform, cleanse, and load data from multiple source systems into target databases and data warehouses.

- Work with DataStage stages such as Transformer, Lookup, Join, Sort, Aggregator, Funnel, Sequential File, and Dataset.

- Develop and maintain parallel jobs and server jobs as required.

- Optimize ETL job performance and troubleshoot production issues.

- Monitor job execution, identify failures, and implement permanent fixes.

- Work with databases such as Oracle and DB2 and write SQL queries.

- Support job scheduling, deployment, production releases, and batch monitoring.





- Use Talend for secondary ETL development and data integration activities.

- Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, DBAs, and other stakeholders.

- Maintain technical documentation and follow development and production support standards.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage.

- Positive understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and data warehousing.

- Working knowledge of Talend as a secondary skill.

- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or DB2.

- Knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting.

- Experience in ETL performance tuning, debugging, and production support.

Preferred Skills

- IBM InfoSphere DataStage Parallel Extender.

- DataStage administration and deployment.

- Change Data Capture (CDC).

- Data quality and data governance concepts.

- Experience with enterprise data warehouse environments.
