Key Responsibilities

· Teach Social Studies, including History, Geography, Civics, and other relevant topics, according to the prescribed curriculum.

· Prepare structured lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.

· Explain historical events, geographical concepts, political systems, cultures, and social issues in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.

· Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, discussion, and independent learning among students.

· Use maps, timelines, case studies, visual aids, group discussions, projects, and real-world examples to enhance understanding.

· Promote awareness of history, cultural diversity, citizenship, environmental responsibility, and social values.

· Assess students’ academic progress through classwork, homework, quizzes, projects, presentations, and examinations.

· Provide additional academic support to students who require improvement.

· Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, respectful discussion, and collaborative learning.

· Adapt teaching strategies to suit different age groups, academic levels, and learning abilities.

· Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to support academic development.





· Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, assessments, and student progress.

· Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school management to support students’ overall development.

· Participate in school events, educational activities, exhibitions, debates, and extracurricular programmes.

Requirements

· Minimum 1+ year of teaching experience in a school.

· Prior school teaching experience is mandatory.

· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Social Studies, or a relevant subject is preferred.

· B.Ed. qualification will be an added advantage.

· Experience teaching under IB, IGCSE, CBSE, or ICSE curricula will be an added advantage.

· Solid subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly.

· Good communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.

· Ability to develop students’ critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.

· Familiarity with student-centred teaching methods and curriculum-based assessment.

· A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students’ academic and personal growth.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
