BABARO & CO. | Remote | Internship

We believe a brand should stand for something beyond the products it sells. That belief shapes how we create content, tell stories, and build community. We’re looking for someone who can help us turn that philosophy into a distinctive, consistent and thoughtfully curated social media presence.

The role

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of social media, creative research, content strategy and organisation. You’ll work closely with the founding team to develop content ideas, research stories worth telling, build a structured content calendar, coordinate social media activity and create an organised home for the brand’s creative ideas.

Some ideas will be fully formed. Others may begin as a passing thought, a reference image, a book passage, a research paper or an interesting observation. Your job is to help turn those raw inputs into a system of ideas that can become compelling content. We’re looking for someone who can think creatively, execute reliably and bring structure to an evolving creative process.

What you'll do?

1. Content research & ideation

- Research interesting, relevant and unexpected stories around culture, psychology, art, music, heritage, philosophy, design, craftsmanship, history and exploration.
- Develop original content ideas for Instagram and other relevant platforms.
- Identify emerging conversations, cultural references, creators, communities and formats that could inspire content.
- Turn interesting findings into potential reels, carousels, stories, short-form videos and recurring content series.
- Bring forward ideas proactively rather than waiting for instructions.

2. Content calendar & planning

- Build and maintain a clear, actionable content calendar.
- Plan content themes, formats, publishing schedules, deadlines and production requirements.
- Connect individual posts into larger narratives and recurring series.
- Track content status from initial idea through research, drafting, design, approval, scheduling and publication.
- Help maintain a consistent publishing rhythm without compromising the quality of the work.

3. Social media management

- Assist with day-to-day management of our social media accounts.
- Prepare captions, hooks, keywords, hashtags and accessibility-friendly alt text.
- Organise assets and coordinate the preparation and scheduling of approved posts.
- Monitor comments, relevant conversations and community engagement.
- Track basic performance metrics and identify what is working, what is not, and what we should test next.

4. Creative organisation & knowledge management

- Build and maintain a central creative workspace for ideas, references, research, content drafts and ongoing projects.
- Organise creative inputs into searchable categories, content pillars, themes and potential projects.
- Maintain a library of visual references, articles, research papers, books, creators, audio, inspiration and useful links.
- Document recurring workflows, creative briefs, brand guidelines and publishing processes.
- Make it easy to retrieve an idea months later and understand how it could become a piece of content.

5. Creative execution & experimentation

- Assist with developing content briefs, scripts, storyboards and carousel structures.
- Use tools such as Canva and AI-assisted creative tools where appropriate.
- Explore new content formats, storytelling techniques and ways to communicate complex ideas simply.
- Review published content and recommend improvements based on audience response and performance.
- Help build repeatable content series that people recognise, anticipate and want to follow.

Who we're looking for?

You may be a student, recent graduate or aspiring creative professional interested in social media, content strategy, brand building or digital storytelling. More important than your degree is how you think and work.

- Curious: You enjoy going down research rabbit holes and finding connections between seemingly unrelated subjects.
- Creative: You can recognise an interesting story and imagine how it could become compelling content.
- Organised: You enjoy turning scattered thoughts, references and deadlines into a clear, usable system.
- Proactive: You bring ideas, ask thoughtful questions and take ownership of tasks.
- A strong communicator: You can write clearly, develop a valuable hook and adapt an idea for a social media audience.
- Research-minded: You know how to find credible sources, verify claims and distinguish evidence from speculation.
- Digitally comfortable: You can learn new tools quickly and are comfortable working with documents, spreadsheets, content platforms and digital asset libraries.
- Attentive to detail: You care about the quality of the final output, from a caption to a correctly attributed source.

An interest in motorcycles is a plus, but not a requirement.

We value curiosity and the ability to develop an informed point of view.

Tools you may work with

Depending on your existing skills and the workflow we establish, you may use:

- Figma, Notion, Airtable or Google Sheets for idea management and content calendars.
- Instagram and Meta Business Suite for social media management and scheduling.
- Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for content preparation and basic design.
- Google Drive for research, documents and creative assets.
- AI tools for research assistance, brainstorming and creative workflows.

You do not need to know every tool already. The ability to learn and use tools thoughtfully matters more than a long list of software skills.

What success looks like?

By the end of the internship, you should have helped us establish:

- A well-organised, searchable creative idea and research library.
- A practical content calendar with a clear view of upcoming work.
- A steady pipeline of researched, relevant and original content ideas.
- A reliable workflow for preparing, approving, publishing and reviewing content.
- A consistent social media presence that reflects the brand’s identity.
- A growing understanding of which stories, formats and themes resonate with our audience.

What you'll gain?

- First-hand experience building the social media presence of an emerging lifestyle brand.
- Exposure to creative direction, content strategy, brand storytelling and audience development.
- The opportunity to work closely with the founding team and contribute ideas that can become published work.
- Practical experience with research-led content, editorial planning and creative project management.
- Ownership of real projects and the opportunity to build a portfolio of work.
