What you will do

Platform administration

- Accounts and environments

Manage separate Snowflake accounts for development, testing and production, and keep their setup consistent.

- Access and security

Build and maintain role-based access (RBAC). Manage single sign-on and user provisioning with the corporate identity provider (SAML/OIDC and SCIM). Set up key-pair authentication for service accounts and network policies.

- Data protection

Apply Snowflake Horizon governance features: object tagging, masking policies and row access policies for sensitive data.

- Cost and performance

Size and tune warehouses, set resource monitors and budgets, and report on credit usage. Find and fix slow or costly queries.

- Infrastructure as code

Manage Snowflake objects through version-controlled scripts (for example Terraform or schemachange), not by hand.

- Monitoring and support

Set up alerts, track failed jobs and logins, handle incidents, and write runbooks so others can follow the same steps.

- Data sharing

Configure secure data sharing between accounts so non-production environments can use production data safely.

Data engineering

- Source onboarding

Onboard enterprise business data sources (for example ERP, commerce, marketing, supply chain and SaaS applications) using Fivetran and Snowflake Openflow.

- Ingestion operations

Configure and run connectors, and handle schema changes, re-syncs, failures and freshness targets.

- Custom and streaming feeds





Build Openflow flows for sources without a ready-made connector, including files, APIs, databases and event streams.

- Pipelines and orchestration

Build and schedule pipelines using Snowflake Tasks, Streams, Dynamic Tables, Snowpipe and dbt Projects on Snowflake.

- Data quality at landing

Add row-count, freshness and completeness checks so problems are caught before data reaches users.

- CI/CD

Build deployment pipelines that promote code from development to test to production safely.

Must have

- 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake administration: RBAC design, warehouses, resource monitors, account parameters and user management.

- Had worked on enterprise companies who has implemented Snowflake as DATA Hub.

- Hands-on experience with Fivetran or a similar managed ingestion tool, including troubleshooting sync failures.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake Openflow or Apache NiFi, building and running data flows.

- SnowPro Core certification.

- Solid SQL and working Python.

- Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data platforms.

- Working knowledge of AWS as it relates to Snowflake: S3, IAM roles and storage integrations.

- Clear written English and the discipline to document what you build.

Nice to have

- SnowPro Advanced: Administrator or Architect certification.

- Terraform, schemachange or similar tools for managing Snowflake objects.

- Snowpipe Streaming, Kafka or other streaming ingestion.

- Experience with a secrets manager for service credentials.
