Job Purpose/ Summary

Manage end-to-end customer account reconciliation activities by ensuring accurate payment matching,



resolving billing and payment discrepancies, monitoring outstanding receivables, supporting collections, and maintaining compliance with accounting policies to ensure timely closure of open items. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end customer account reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy of receivables and timely resolution of outstanding issues. The incumbent will perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts, match payments against invoices, investigate payment discrepancies, and prepare customer-wise reconciliation statements and ageing reports. The position involves close coordination with customers, Sales, Accounts Receivable, and internal stakeholders to resolve account variances, clear disputed balances, and ensure timely collection of outstanding dues.

Additionally, the role will support month-end and year-end closing activities, prepare MIS reports related to receivables and collections, maintain accurate transaction records, and ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and audit requirements. The objective is to improve receivable accuracy, enhance cash flow management, and ensure timely closure of reconciliation items while maintaining high standards of financial control and customer service.

Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts and outstanding balances to ensure accuracy and compliancebr Match customer payments and receipts against invoices and accounting records to maintain financial integritybr Identify and investigate discrepancies short payments excess payments and unapplied receipts to resolve issues promptlybr Prepare detailed customerwise reconciliation statements and ageing reports for management reviewbr Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments and account discrepancies to facilitate timely resolutionbr Coordinate with Sales Accounts Receivable and other internal teams to address and resolve reconciliation issues effectivelybr Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and reconciliation activities to support audit and compliance requirementsbr Assist in clearing old and disputed outstanding balances to improve cash flow and financial reportingbr Prepare Management Information System MIS reports related to receivables collections and reconciliations for strategic decisionmakingbr Ensure timely closure of reconciliation items and follow up on pending issues to maintain operational efficiencybr Support monthend and yearend closing activities to ensure accurate financial reportingbr Maintain proper documentation and comply with company accounting policies and procedures to uphold financial standards
