ServiceNow Developer

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 6–8 years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ServiceNow application development, workflow automation, integrations, and enterprise-scale implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop and enhance applications using SPM, App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, and Performance Analytics.
- Build custom applications, business rules, UI policies, workflows, forms, integrations, and dashboards.
- Design transition lifecycle workflows, approval processes, governance checkpoints, notifications, and task automation.
- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations and web services.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support platform upgrades, deployments, performance tuning, defect resolution, and production support.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, accessibility, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, architectural diagrams, development standards, and knowledge articles.
- Follow Agile methodologies, SDLC, DevOps practices, and release management processes.
Mandatory Skills
- 6–8 years of overall IT experience,
with 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development and administration.
- Hands-on experience with SPM, App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Solid JavaScript programming skills.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, web services, and integrations.
- Experience developing custom applications, workflows, and automation solutions.
- Knowledge of Performance Analytics, dashboards, and reporting.
- Understanding of ServiceNow data models, ACLs, security architecture, update sets, scoped applications, and platform governance.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification – Required.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification – Required.
Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM certification.
- Experience with enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
