Role Definition

Engineer-operations is one who handles complete operations of the company which includes planning, purchasing, production, new product development, dispatches and service

Responsibility Deliverable

- Planning, purchasing, production and dispatch of the material in safe condition
- Repair of product in house or at customer place in shortest possible time
- Planning buffer stock and maintaining accurate stock of products & spares
- Design and development of recent products in shortest possible time

Tasks & Activities

- Maintaining buffer stock safely for quick delivery
- Maintaining accurate stock
- Organizing packing material
- Organizing packing of goods
- Timely dispatch of goods
- Material planning based on customer orders
- Releasing purchase order on suppliers
- Vendor development and management
- Repair of products, both inhouse and at customer place

1. Helping the company to develop new products
2. Ensuring timely payment to vendors by coordinating with accounts department

3. Monthly stock reconciliation
4. Creates formal documentation including configuration documentation, test documentation, and support documentation.
5. Stay abreast of the latest technology trends
6. carrying out tests on systems and making changes to plans where necessary

- monitoring the installation of services and managing their maintenance once the installation is completed
- liaising with electricians, technologists and other professionals
- giving presentations, writing reports, highlighting the practical implications of the design changes
- promoting energy efficiency and other sustainability initiatives
- managing teams of people
