Role Description The Senior Tour Consultant is a sales-led role responsible for converting inbound travel enquiries into confirmed bookings across domestic and international products, and for managing the customer relationship through to post-travel follow-up.

Key responsibilities:

- Receive and respond to inbound enquiries from all channels, and convert them into bookings through consultative selling
- Understand client preferences, budgets, and travel needs, and recommend suitable tour options
- Design customized itineraries and prepare clear, competitive proposals and quotations
- Follow up on open enquiries, negotiate, and close bookings within agreed timelines
- Coordinate confirmed bookings for transportation, accommodation, and activities with internal teams and external partners
- Manage post-sale customer relations: documentation, queries, changes,



on-trip support, and feedback collection
- Lead guided tours occasionally, as business requires
- Maintain current knowledge of destinations, pricing, travel regulations, and market trends
- Meet monthly sales targets and maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and conversions
- Contribute to improving service offerings and customer experience

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality, in a sales or client-facing role
- Proven track record of converting enquiries into bookings and designing and managing tour packages
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Malayalam and English (spoken and written)
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to manage multiple bookings and time-sensitive requests simultaneously
- Knowledge of domestic and international destinations, travel regulations, and current market trends
- Experience in planning, organizing, and overseeing guided tours is an advantage
- Proficiency with travel booking tools, office software, and digital communication platforms
- Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to work in office in Kozhikode

Compensation

Fixed salary of up to ₹40,000 per month, based on experience, plus target-linked incentives.
