Lead Cloud Platform Architect (AKS-Azure Kubernetes Service)

We are seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Architect (AKS) with solid hands-on experience in designing, building, and governing enterprise-scale cloud platforms on Azure. The ideal candidate should be able to architect, implement, and mentor teams while driving platform decisions and best practices.

Must-Have Skills

- Microsoft Azure AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- GitOps (FluxCD / ArgoCD)
- Kubernetes Architecture Administration
- Azure Networking (Azure CNI, Hub-Spoke, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall, NAT Gateway)
- Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identity RBAC
- Azure Key Vault Secrets Management
- CI/CD (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
- Helm Kustomize

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and build scalable, secure Azure AKS platforms.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Establish GitOps, CI/CD, monitoring, security,



and governance frameworks.
- Define platform standards, upgrade strategies, and operational runbooks.
- Drive technical decision-making and mentor engineering teams.
- Ensure platform reliability, compliance, and cost optimization.

Nice to Have

- CKA / CKS / AZ-305 / AZ-400 Certifications
- Financial services or regulated industry experience
- Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd)
- Platform Engineering Internal Developer Platforms (Backstage)
