Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MongoDB Administrator to manage, maintain, optimize, and support MongoDB databases in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain MongoDB databases.
- Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity.
- Perform database backup, restoration, and disaster recovery activities.
- Troubleshoot MongoDB performance and connectivity issues.
- Manage replica sets, sharding, replication, and high availability.
- Perform database upgrades, patching, and migrations.
- Implement database security, access controls, and user management.
- Monitor database health and proactively identify potential issues.
- Work with development and infrastructure teams to resolve database-related issues.




- Perform performance tuning and query optimization.
- Maintain database documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in MongoDB Administration.
- Good knowledge of MongoDB architecture and internals.
- Experience with replica sets and sharding.
- Knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery.
- Experience in MongoDB performance monitoring and tuning.
- Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of database security and access management.
- Experience working in enterprise production environments.

Preferred

- Experience with MongoDB in large-scale/high-availability environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and monitoring tools.
- MongoDB certification would be an advantage.
