Key Responsibilities

- - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
- - Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
- - Develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests using Apache JMeter.
- - Identify, document, track, and validate software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- - Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
- - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- - Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, and support root-cause analysis of application issues.
- - Prepare test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality metrics.
- - Ensure adequate test coverage and adherence to quality standards across releases.
- - Proactively identify opportunities to improve test automation efficiency and overall QA processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- - 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.




- - Solid proficiency in Playwright for browser-based automation.
- - Good experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
- - Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance, load, and stress testing.
- - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python for test automation.
- - Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
- - Good understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- - Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- - Ability to analyse test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and identify root causes.
- - Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- - Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
- - Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
- - Knowledge of cross-browser testing and test execution in parallel.
- - Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- - Relevant QA automation or performance-testing certifications are an advantage.
