About the Role

As a Senior QA Tester, you will lead end-to-end quality assurance for a high-quality SaaS solution that exceeds customer and business partner expectations. You will be responsible for planning and developing test strategies, including detailed test plans and test cases for complex components within the product. Additionally, you will take responsibility for managing defects, tracking resolution, and communicating test results to the broader team.

Location: Bangalore, India. This is a hybrid role, three days per week in the office.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of professional experience in QA for modern, cloud-based SaaS applications, with expertise in both UI and API testing.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated E2E test suites (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
- Experience testing REST APIs (e.g. Postman, REST-assured, or similar) including contract, data, and error-case validation.
- Experience testing AI-powered or AI-assisted product features (e.g. validating model outputs, edge cases, and failure modes for AI-driven functionality) as these capabilities are introduced into the product.
- Knowledgeable in testing within cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and across CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in designing and executing test cases / test plans, including for complex, data-intensive, multi-tenant systems.
- Experience in using bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
- Working knowledge of common web application security risks (e.g. OWASP Top 10) and how to test for them.

- Ability to mentor more junior members of the team.

Nice to Have
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and practices (e.g. axe,



WCAG 2.2 AA conformance).
- Performance and load testing experience for high-volume, multi-tenant systems.
- Domain knowledge in finance, ERP, FP&A;, or accounting systems.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the system under test, including how finance teams use the product to build, version, and collaborate on plans and budgets.
- Design, execute, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites (e.g.

Playwright) covering critical user journeys across the web application.

- Plan and execute API-level testing against REST services, validating contracts, data integrity, and error handling across the microservices estate.
- Test across browsers, devices, and cloud environments to ensure consistent behaviour and performance at scale.
- Validate data integrity and multi-tenant isolation across large, multi-dimensional financial datasets.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted testing tools (e.g. AI-powered test case generation, self-healing test automation, AI-assisted test data generation) to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Incorporate security-aware testing practices (e.g. OWASP Top 10 risk areas) into test planning and execution.

- Contribute to accessibility testing (WCAG 2.2 AA) as part of the overall quality bar.
- Provide technical guidance to more junior members of the team.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to create source documents used for testing artefacts, and create and maintain test artefacts that maximise the efficiency of the test phase, cover all requirements, and allow for timely delivery of products and/or components to our customers.
