: Senior Data Engineer Python, Azure & Generative AI Experience: 5 7 Years

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong Python development expertise, experience in Microsoft Azure, and working knowledge of Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable backend applications, building REST APIs, integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), and implementing AI-powered solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool/function calling, and AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications using Flask or Quart.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for backend services and AI-powered applications.
- Develop and integrate solutions using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool/function calling, and AI agents.
- Implement and support cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure and related cloud services.
- Design and develop microservices-based applications and asynchronous processing workflows.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and associated development tools.
- Develop and support data integration and synchronization solutions between cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, debugging, testing,



and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to performance optimization and continuous improvement.

Required Skills And Qualifications

- 5 7 years of experience in Python development, backend engineering, or data engineering.
- Solid programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience in Flask or Quart.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and AI agent development.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud application architecture.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and asynchronous programming.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating and synchronizing data across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Good understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for software engineering tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Azure AI services and Azure-based application deployment.
- Knowledge of API security, application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
