Senior Product Manager (POS, Retail) | 1 Position

Location: Gurugram - In-Office 5 Days a Week (Locals Preferred)

Experience: 8-12 Years | F2F Final Round Mandatory

Client is modernising the future of intelligent store commerce, and we need a Senior PM to own it.

About The Role:

You will own the strategy, roadmap, customer experience, and business outcomes for Client’s POS portfolio — Cloud POS, Offline POS, Mobile POS, and Omnichannel store journeys across Client One. This is a mission-critical platform for enterprise retailers.

This is not just feature management. You will reimagine what a store should look like for the next decade — AI-first, omnichannel, checkout-anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

1. POS Product Strategy, Market & Discovery

- Own long-term vision, strategy & roadmap for Cloud, Offline, Mobile & Omnichannel POS
- Deep dive into retailers, store associates, market shifts & global POS competition to find whitespace
- Prioritize roadmap based on customer value, market opportunity, competitive advantage & ROI — distinguish scalable needs from one-off customizations
- Shape modernization & migration strategy while protecting continuity for enterprise retailers

2. Up-to-date Store & Omnichannel Experience

- Reimagine core store journeys: billing, payments, promotions, loyalty, returns, inventory visibility, assisted selling, endless aisle
- Design seamless experiences across stores, e-commerce, marketplaces — including Mobile POS & checkout-anywhere
- Own product quality: speed, usability, reliability, offline resilience, multi-device, high-volume store networks

3. Platform, Architecture & Execution





- Partner deeply with Engineering & Architecture on APIs, data flows, sync, security, performance, observability, extensibility & backward compatibility
- Ensure seamless integration with ERP, OMS, WMS, CRM, loyalty, payments, tax, e-commerce & 3rd party retail ecosystems
- Translate strategy into crisp requirements, prototypes & workflows
- Lead cross-functional execution with Design, Eng, QA, CS & Implementation from discovery to adoption

4. AI-First Store Innovation

- Identify AI-native opportunities across checkout, associate assistance, store ops, recommendations, automation, fraud/risk & CX
- Use AI & rapid prototyping tools hands-on to validate concepts faster
- Challenge legacy retail workflows & define what an intelligent, connected store looks like for the next decade

5. Business Outcomes & Monetization

- Own measurable outcomes: adoption, usage depth, CSAT, retention, revenue & expansion
- Define success metrics pre-launch, track post-launch & drive continuous improvement
- Partner with Sales & Marketing on positioning, packaging, differentiation & monetization

Ideal Candidate - Mandatory:

- Strong Senior PM with retail-tech background & POS product leadership
- 8+ years in product management with significant ownership of POS
- Experience leading a product team & owning strategy/roadmap for Cloud, Offline & Mobile POS
- Built enterprise-grade products requiring offline resilience, high availability & large-scale integrations (ERP, OMS, WMS, CRM)
- Deep experience in omnichannel retail journeys — billing, payments, promotions, loyalty, inventory visibility
- Strong SaaS product lifecycle management & ERP integrations experience
- Must be willing to work from Gurugram office 5 days/week & attend F2F final interview
