Role Overview
Virtual and in-person events are deep sources of valuable content that is greatly underused today. Audiences can’t always attend the live event, and they also don’t always have time to watch hours of recordings. Your job is to make it easier than ever to quickly and intelligently repurpose content to maximize event content views.
As Senior PM for Content, you'll own Content Lab, Recording Studio, and the integration into the Cvent Video ecosystem.
Content Lab is our AI native application for quickly editing and creating new video assets. Recording Studio is designed to be a easy self-serve tool to quickly create high quality on-demand content without being a video expert.
Marketers will use what you build to turn a typical 45-minute session into clips, posts, and blogs that keep working long after the event ends.
The work sits at the edge of what AI can do with video. You'll shape AI content generation, AI highlights, transcription, AI search, and an AI-powered editor that takes on the hard parts of editing. You'll also own the timeline, video pipeline, and reliability work that those features depends on.
You'll partner with a dedicated designer and one to two engineering pods. Prototype early, test with customers, and ship what earns its place
What You Will Be Doing
- Set the strategy and roadmap for Content Lab and Recording Studio, including how they connect to the Cvent Video Library.
- Build the workflows that take marketers from a single digital event to an always-on content strategy.
- Lead AI initiatives across AI highlights, transcription, AI search, and the AI-powered editor.
- Implement modern AI and ML capabilities to build a native AI product (LLMs, RAG, MCP, search)
- Keep the video pipeline fast, stable, and resilient, so AI features land on a foundation customers trust.
- Prototype with design, put ideas in front of customers, and raise the quality bar with every release.
- Track the video, events, and generative AI landscape, and turn what you learn into explicit product bets.
- Drive work across one to two engineering pods, from problem definition through delivery and adoption.
What You Need for this Position:
- 12+ years of product management experience and a track record of shipping products customers use and value.
- High agency and bias for action.
- Experience with video editing and clipping tools, workflows, and best practices.
- Experience with AI cowork and agentic clients, MCP, and headless workflows for the future of AI video repurposing
- Day-to-day experience on a cross-functional team of design and engineering, from problem definition through delivery.
- A strong eye for great product and user experience, with examples of pushing the bar higher alongside a designer.
- Comfort with technically complex products and with making architecture, performance, and reliability tradeoffs alongside engineering.
- Quantitative, measurable thinking around goals and objectives.
- Clear writing and speaking, and the ability to rally stakeholders around a direction.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with video infrastructure, media pipelines, or B2B marketing technology.
- A strong understanding of typical martech and syndication workflows for video content
- Experience with personalization or recommendation features.
