Role & responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to planned schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, Quality, Design, and Sales teams.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and bought-out components.
- Monitor machine capacity, manpower utilization, and production output.
- Identify production bottlenecks, material shortages, and delays, and take corrective action.
- Track planned versus actual production and customer delivery commitments.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and production lead times.
- Maintain production reports, order status, and MIS.
- Update and monitor production plans through ERP/MRP systems.
- Support productivity improvement, inventory control, and on-time delivery initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile





- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
- 612 years of experience in Production Planning & Control in manufacturing industries.
- Experience in machining, hydraulic cylinders, engineering components, or precision manufacturing preferred.
- Good knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, BOM, MRP, and inventory management.
- Experience in ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
- Robust analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
