? We’re Hiring | Senior Merchandiser & Team Lead – Flat Knit Division

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to take ownership of our Flat-knit team and drive execution from product development through shipment.

This role will be the central point of accountability for buyer commitments, team performance and coordination with production.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Buyer Management

- Manage buyer communication, enquiries, costing, order confirmations and delivery commitments.
- Lead product development, sampling, fit approvals and pre-production readiness.
- Build and manage time-and-action calendars, ensuring approvals and milestones stay on track.
- Monitor daily production through WIP reports, output tracking and coordination with department supervisors.

Daily Leadership & Production Coordination

- Lead the flat-knit team, assigning explicit responsibilities, priorities and deadlines.
- Review daily reports covering sampling, approvals, materials and production output against plan.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and drive corrective actions to maintain delivery schedules.
- Align capacity and manpower with order requirements in coordination with production.
- Develop team capability and hold members accountable for execution.
- Report progress,



delivery risks and decisions requiring management intervention.

Business Development & Client Relationship Management

- Identify and develop new business opportunities, acquire buyers and expand the flat-knit customer portfolio.
- Lead commercial discussions, prepare proposals and negotiate pricing and terms in line with profitability objectives.
- Drive repeat orders and account growth by presenting relevant product developments and ensuring consistent service.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong experience in flat-knit garment merchandising, with proven team leadership.
- Sound technical knowledge of yarns, gauges, knit structures, garment construction and finishing.
- Ability to manage multiple buyers and orders while maintaining commercial and operational control.
- Confident communication, practical problem-solving and the ability to lead under pressure.
- A strong ownership mindset and willingness to work closely with teams on the factory floor.
