About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Marathi speechwriter to develop speeches, addresses and public remarks for a senior political leader in Maharashtra. The role requires outstanding Marathi writing ability, sound political judgment and a strong understanding of Maharashtra's political and governance landscape. The candidate must be capable of independently writing complete, final speeches in Marathi, rather than relying on translations or extensive editorial support.

Responsibilities

- Independently research, structure and draft speeches in Marathi for political, public and official engagements.
- Translate political developments, governance priorities and public issues into clear, compelling language.
- Adapt speeches to different audiences, occasions and political contexts.
- Capture the leader's natural speaking style, tone and political perspective.
- Prepare talking points, short addresses and briefing notes when required.
- Coordinate with political, research and communications teams, ensuring factual accuracy and timely delivery.

Requirements

- Exceptional command of written Marathi is mandatory, including the ability to write persuasive, natural and effective speeches.




- Proven experience in original Marathi writing, preferably political speechwriting, journalism, editorial writing or public affairs.
- Strong understanding of Maharashtra politics, society, governance and current affairs.
- Ability to research independently, exercise sound editorial judgment and work under tight deadlines.
- Good English comprehension and the ability to work with English-language research and briefing material.
- Professional discretion when handling sensitive information.
