We are looking for a dynamic and technically competent professional to support the Biofuels & Green Chemistry business, with responsibility for development and execution of consulting, EPC and PMC projects in the emerging bioenergy and green chemistry sector.
The role will involve working across the complete project lifecycle — from feasibility assessment, technology evaluation and DPR preparation to project development (EPC/PMC) and performance monitoring.
The candidate will work on projects involving Compressed Biogas (CBG/Bio-CNG), Ethanol, Biochar, Biodiesel and other waste-to-value and green chemistry projects.
2. Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop recent business opportunities in biofuels, biomass, waste-to-energy and green chemistry.
- Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals, EOI/RFP/tender responses and presentations.
- Develop relationships with technology providers, equipment manufacturers, financial institutions, investors and project developers.
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions and negotiations.
- Support development of new products and service offerings for the BGC business.
Sustainability & Carbon Integration
- Identify GHG reduction and carbon-credit opportunities associated with biofuel projects.
- Support project developers in carbon footprint assessment, LCA, carbon credit feasibility and MRV.
- Assess project alignment with applicable carbon standards and sustainability frameworks.
- Integrate energy efficiency, circular economy and decarbonization considerations into project design.
3. Key Deliverables / KPIs
- Development of new clients and business opportunities.
- Revenue and order-book contribution to the BGC division.
- Effective management of technology providers, vendors and contractors.
- Client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identification of carbon-credit and sustainability opportunities from projects.
4. Educational Qualification
Essential:
- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical or related engineering disciplines.
Preferred:
- M.Tech/M.E./MBA
- Qualified certification in project management, energy, sustainability or carbon management will be an advantage.
5. Experience Recommended experience: 5–12 years in one or more of the following:
- Bio-CNG/CBG
- Ethanol/Distillery
- Biodiesel
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
