About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our Loan Origination System (LOS) development team. The candidate will design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend services for our LOS, built using Java and Spring Boot. The role involves working closely with product and business stakeholders on evolving requirements, developing recent features, integrating external systems, and resolving technical issues.

The candidate will also guide junior team members and help maintain application quality, stability, and scalability.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 7+ years of professional experience in Java application development, preferably in enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8, Java 21 or higher, and Spring Boot 2.x/3.x.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, multithreading, and core Java concepts.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or a similar message broker/queueing tool.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and database-driven application development.
- Experience with Oracle Database or a comparable relational database. • Understanding of JPA/Hibernate, transaction management, and database connectivity.
- Familiarity with application debugging, logging, performance analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Knowledge of software design principles, common design patterns, and maintainable application architecture.
- Experience using Git and standard software development practices.




- Ability to understand business requirements and independently deliver technical solutions.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with product, business, QA, frontend, and database teams.

Good to Have:

- Experience with React 18 or a working understanding of frontend application integration.
- Experience in lending, NBFCs, fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Familiarity with LOS/LMS platforms, credit assessment, underwriting, and lending workflows.
- Experience with the Frappe framework.
- Exposure to GenAI/LLM platforms such as AWS Bedrock.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering for AI-assisted features.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes. • Exposure to cloud infrastructure, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
