Role: Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter QA Tester

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 12 months+

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: Hybrid in Pune, India ROLE SUMMARY

Performs quality assurance testing activities for Guidewire ClaimCenter applications to ensure software quality, system reliability, and business process accuracy across Commercial Property & Casualty insurance operations. Executes functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing, validates data and system integrations, and collaborates with business and technology teams to support successful software delivery.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review and analyze business and system requirements to develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities for Guidewire ClaimCenter applications.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test data, and supporting test documentation.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution in partnership with development teams.
- Validate business processes, claims workflows, and system integrations against functional and technical requirements.
- Execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy, business transactions, and system processing results.
- Support testing of integrations between Guidewire ClaimCenter and other enterprise applications, including ERP, mainframe, and external systems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA team members throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Record and communicate testing progress, results, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
- Maintain testing artifacts, defect records,



and quality documentation in accordance with established QA standards.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

- 4-6 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related testing roles.
- 3+ years of experience testing Guidewire ClaimCenter applications within the Property & Casualty insurance domain.
- Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration, integration, and functional testing.
- Demonstrated experience testing user interfaces, web services, batch integrations, and enterprise application workflows.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques.
- Experience using test management tools such as Microsoft Test Manager, Rally, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
- Working knowledge of XML and system integration concepts.
- Experience with API testing tools such as SoapUI or Postman is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter is preferred.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Property & Casualty insurance experience is required; Commercial Insurance experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Guidewire ClaimCenter Associate Certification is required.
- Relevant certifications in software testing, Agile methodologies, or quality assurance are preferred.
