Senior Accounts Executive – Finance & Accounts

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on finance professional to support Cricbuzz's finance function across banking and treasury, subscription management, intercompany reconciliations, invoicing, audit, accounting and compliance. You'll work closely with the finance leadership and business teams to keep the numbers accurate and closures on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day banking and treasury activities, including fund movements, bank reconciliations, FDs, cash-flow tracking and coordination with banks.
- Handle intercompany reconciliations, confirmations and closure of differences across group entities.
- Manage and reconcile subscription revenue, including payment gateways, Apple/Google settlements, refunds and chargebacks.
- Support customer invoicing, revenue reconciliation, collection tracking and coordination with business teams.
- Own end-to-end financial statement preparation and book closure, including monthly and year-end closing, provisions and balance-sheet reconciliations, in line with Ind AS.
- Coordinate statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit and IFC audit requirements, and support internal controls documentation, testing and remediation.
- Assist with GST,



TDS and other statutory compliances.
- Support vendor payments, receivables, payables and related reconciliations.
- Prepare schedules, workings and data required for MIS and management reviews.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants and internal stakeholders for timely closure of finance-related matters.

Candidate Profile

- 4–5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, including end-to-end financial statement preparation and book closure.
- CA qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong practical knowledge of accounting under Ind AS, audits, and reconciliations.
- Prior audit experience is essential, including exposure to internal controls and IFC (Internal Financial Controls) audits.
- Positive understanding of banking, treasury, subscription reconciliation, GST and TDS.
- Expert-level Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
- Hands-on, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple finance activities.
- Candidates with CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com or an equivalent finance background, along with relevant experience, may also be considered.
