About the Role

Our Germany-based office is looking for an experienced, hands-on professional to manage the technical planning, fabrication and construction of exhibition stands for trade fairs (Messe) in Germany and across Europe.

The primary responsibility is to turn existing designs and concepts into high-quality, practical and cost-effective exhibition stands. The candidate will coordinate with designers, workshops, suppliers and European installation teams to ensure that stands are manufactured, transported, assembled and dismantled successfully.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate existing exhibition stand designs into detailed technical and fabrication drawings, production plans and assembly instructions.
- Manage stand construction, including carpentry, joinery, metal fabrication, CNC cutting, lighting and finishing.
- Select suitable materials and optimise construction methods, costs and production time.
- Prepare bills of materials, cost estimates and project budgets.
- Coordinate fabrication workshops, suppliers, logistics and installation teams.
- Ensure quality, structural stability,



safe installation and compliance with applicable German and European exhibition venue requirements.
- Supervise on-site stand assembly and dismantling in Germany and other European countries when required.

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in exhibition stand construction, fabrication or exhibition project execution.
- Strong practical knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, CNC machinery and technical drawings.
- Experience converting designs into finished, ready-to-install exhibition stands.
- Ability to independently manage projects from technical planning through fabrication to final installation.
- Good English communication, organisational and cost-management skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Europe.

Experience working with German or European trade fairs and contractors is a strong advantage. Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and other technical drawing tools is preferred.
