**Role Description The Senior Executive Patents role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The role involves managing patent-related activities, including drafting, reviewing, and filing patent applications, and coordinating with internal R&D;, regulatory, and business teams to protect intellectual property. The individual will support freedom-to-operate assessments, conduct prior art searches, and assist in maintaining and monitoring the patent portfolio.





Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing legal and technical documentation, liaising with external legal counsel, ensuring compliance with relevant IP laws and regulations, and supporting patent-related disputes or oppositions as required. The role also includes tracking patent timelines, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to IP strategy to support the group’s innovation and growth ob jectives. Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Law with specific exposure to intellectual property and patent-related matters.
- Masters or bachelors in science, chemistry or pharmacy.
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing patent and related legal documentation.
- Prior experience (ideally 3–5 years) in patent management, IP departments, law firms, or in-house legal roles within the chemical or pharmaceutical sector is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with R&D;, regulatory, commercial, and external legal partners.
- Proficiency in using legal and patent databases and standard office software tools.**
