- Handle day-to-day production activities related to MIG welding.

- Monitor welding parameters, including voltage, current, wire feed speed, and gas flow.

- Ensure quality standards and minimize welding defects such as porosity, undercut, and spatter.

- Monitor production targets, cycle time, productivity, and rejection rates.

- Troubleshoot welding-related issues and implement corrective actions.

- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve process issues.

- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, welding fixtures, and consumables.

- Maintain production reports, rejection records, and process documentation.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and 5S practices on the shop floor.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in MIG/MAG welding production.

- Knowledge of welding parameters, fixtures, and welding consumables.

- Understanding of welding defects and their corrective actions.

- Knowledge of production planning, quality tools, and root cause analysis.

- Experience in automotive or metal fabrication manufacturing preferred.

- Robust problem-solving and shop-floor coordination skills.
