Position: Senior Design Engineer – WTP / STP / ETP

Department: Engineering & Design

Experience: 7 to 12 Years (Preferred)

Industry: Water & Wastewater Treatment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and detailed engineering layouts.
2. Develop 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for WTP, STP, ETP, RO, UF, MBR, MBBR, SBR, and ZLD systems.
3. Prepare equipment layout drawings, piping layouts, isometric drawings, sectional views, and fabrication drawings.
4. Develop detailed tank layouts, equipment positioning, piping routing, and mechanical installation drawings.
5. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Bill of Materials (BOM), piping MTO, and technical specifications.
6. Review and coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation drawings to ensure proper integration.
7. Ensure designs comply with project specifications, applicable engineering standards, and client requirements.
8. Coordinate with process engineers, project managers, vendors, and site execution teams for design finalization.
9. Review vendor drawings, equipment dimensions,



nozzle orientations, and installation requirements.
10. Provide technical support during project execution, installation, commissioning, and preparation of as-built drawings.
11. Identify design clashes, optimize equipment placement, and ensure easy operation and maintenance access.
12. Maintain drawing revisions, design documentation, and engineering records.

Technical Skills:

- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Robust knowledge of WTP, STP, ETP, RO, UF, MBR, MBBR, SBR, and ZLD treatment systems.
- Experience preparing PFD, P&ID;, GA, piping layouts, and fabrication drawings.
- Understanding of pumps, blowers, filters, tanks, valves, pipelines, and treatment equipment.
- Knowledge of piping materials, pipe sizing, fittings, valves, and equipment connections.
- Ability to interpret process design inputs and convert them into detailed engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks, or Revit will be an added advantage.
