The company specializes in 2D & 3D CAD production and BIM services for US-based construction projects.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior CAD Engineer to independently handle structural framing drawings (floor/roof framing, shear walls, trusses) as well as architectural/MEP drawing coordination for US residential wood-frame construction projects. This is a client-facing role requiring direct communication with US clients/architects, along with hands-on leadership of a small drafting team.

What You Will Do

1. Independently handle drafting assignments, review drawings, and resolve technical drafting issues for US-based wood-frame (lumber) construction projects
2.



Produce both structural framing drawings and coordinate architectural/MEP drawings
3. Communicate directly with US clients and architects on project requirements and reviews
4. Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 drafters
5. Apply knowledge of US building codes/standards (e.g., IRC/IBC) in drafting and review

What We're Looking For

1. 5-8 years of relevant CAD drafting experience
2. ITI, Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering (any of these accepted)
3. Prior hands-on experience on US-based projects is mandatory
4. Hands-on experience in wood-framed (lumber) construction is mandatory
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD (additional tools are a plus, except Tekla)
6. Working knowledge of US building codes/standards (IRC/IBC)
7. Excellent communication skills with direct US client/architect communication experience
8. Experience leading and mentoring a team (4-5 members)
9. Immediate joiner or able to join within 30 days
