Role Description The Senior Automation Engineer – Python | Selenium will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for complex software systems, ensuring reliability and high-quality delivery. This full-time hybrid role is based in Bengaluru, with a combination of in office collaboration and flexibility for some work from home.

Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and optimizing Selenium-based test suites,



writing and refactoring Python code, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and analyzing test results to drive defect resolution. The role also involves troubleshooting automation issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, documenting test cases and frameworks, and mentoring junior engineers on best practices in automation and quality engineering.

Job Requirements

Automation test engineer with strong expertise in Python and Selenium

Work Experience

- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver
- Solid hands-on in Python scripting (min 2 years) and overall experience 3 to 6 years
- Experience with frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, or unittest
- Experience in API Testing using Postman/REST Assured
- Familiar with Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of TestNG or PyTest, HTML/XML/JSON, and test reporting tools

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Understanding of Docker and containerized testing environments
- Experience in performance testing is a plus
