About the role

- We are hiring a Senior Quality Engineer for a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation.
- The role is based at the manufacturing plant and focuses on ensuring product quality, manufacturing process compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- This is a hands-on individual contributor role involving quality engineering, APQP methodologies, process documentation, and customer quality management.

As a Senior AQ Engineer, you will be responsible for...

- Executing hands-on quality assurance and quality engineering activities at the manufacturing plant.
- Applying all five core APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) tools and methodologies in daily operations.
- Developing, creating, and maintaining process documentation, including Process Flow Charts (PFC)



and other relevant quality documents.
- Ensuring products and manufacturing processes are meeting established quality standards and customer requirements.
- Handling customer complaints, quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Conducting process observations and supporting quality-related investigations at customer sites, as required.
- Collaborating with product engineering, R&D;, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Independently executing technical quality activities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you already have...

Education & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience is required; 6+ years is preferred.
- Candidates with solid technical capability may be considered based on their interview assessment.
- Engineering graduates with experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, or R&D; are eligible.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or automotive component manufacturing is an advantage.

Technical Skills & Competencies

- Practical experience in quality assurance or quality engineering.
- Mandatory hands-on knowledge and application of all five core APQP tools.
- Experience creating and maintaining process documentation, including PFC.
- Knowledge of customer complaint management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to independently execute technical activities and adapt quickly to the role
