About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and client-facing Senior Alteryx Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale data transformation and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, ETL/ELT processes, data engineering, and workflow automation.

This role requires strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to work directly with business and technology teams, and experience delivering solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with Databricks, PySpark, and modern cloud-based data platforms is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain complex Alteryx workflows, macros, and analytic applications.

- Build scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reporting.

- Work directly with clients, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Lead technical discussions, solution design workshops, and client presentations.

- Improve workflow performance, scalability, and maintainability across enterprise applications.

- Develop reusable frameworks, standards, and best practices for Alteryx development.





- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Architects, Analysts, and Business Users.

- Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and production issues.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to project planning and estimation.

- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to increase operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, or Analytics Engineering.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server.

- Proven experience in client-facing roles.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery setting.

Preferred / Nice to Have

- Experience with Databricks platform.

- Hands-on experience with PySpark for distributed data processing.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Knowledge of Delta Lake, Data Lakehouse architectures.

- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for analytics deployments.

- Alteryx certifications (Designer Advanced, Expert, or Server Administration) preferred
