Urgent Hiring: Senior Accountant (Semi Qualified CA)

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a proactive and dependable finance professional to take ownership of our statutory compliance and accounting function. This is a high-responsibility role for someone who enjoys building robust processes, ensuring compliance, and working closely with senior management to safeguard the company’s financial governance.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare GST returns and manage TDS, TCS, income tax, MCA and other applicable compliances. Maintain a compliance calendar and meet filing deadlines.
- Perform bank, customer, vendor, GST, TDS and TCS reconciliations; investigate and resolve differences.
- Review accounting entries, credit notes and debit notes,



and maintain accurate supporting records.
- Coordinate statutory and internal audits; prepare schedules, reconciliations and working papers.
- Prepare documentation and draft responses to departmental notices in coordination with external Chartered Accountants.
- Prepare periodic MIS and compliance reports for management.
- Maintain fixed asset records and support payroll compliance and import transaction documentation, as applicable.
- Work with internal teams to improve accounting processes and financial controls.

Candidate profile

- 5–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and statutory compliance.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST, income tax, MCA, TDS/TCS and reconciliations.
- Able to independently track deadlines, prepare supporting workings and coordinate with auditors and consultants.
- Advanced Excel and MIS reporting skills are essential.
- B.Com/M.Com or CA Inter/CMA Inter preferred.
- Experience in a CA firm or a trading/distribution business is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is an advantage.
